Carmana Designs - Turn-Key Contracting Capabilities

Not only does Carmana Designs design and fabricate custom cabinetry, we also design whole-house renovations and additions. Carmana Designs takes a holistic approach to redesigning a home, office or other type of facility. We take the time to learn about and you and your specific needs before any designs are conceived. We have the flexibility to provide complete turnkey projects where we take charge of the entire project with minimal client involvement, or we take direction from you and/or your designer when you choose to have maximum hands-on involvement.

We have completely gutted apartment buildings, commercial buildings and homes, drafted new floor plans, mechanical plans, lighting plans and furniture plans and then put all those plans into motion. We are demanding in our use of subcontractors, and so it follows naturally that those who do our work have been with us for many years. Our plumbers, electricians, carpenters and HVAC specialists know quite well our exacting demands and they are fully up to the task.

Most recently we completed the renovation of a historically sensitive 10,000 square foot Society Hill residence that was featured in Philadelphia Magazine. We re-designed many rooms in the home, including a boudoir area and re-vamped and reconfigured all four of the bathrooms. We also designed and built a custom wine cellar (with a walk-in chiller unit). Two years later we dug-out a basement room adjacent to the wine cellar to be used as a game room and computer center for the clients' teenagers. We also brought all the electrical, lighting and cable up to 21st century standards so the home could support cable, wireless Internet and plasma televisions throughout the house.
